"A beautiful multi level library with sections for different age groups. Offset along the waters of the Hudson River, upper levels provide a beautiful backdrop for scenery or studying. The only downside is that it's surrounded by paid parking meters which can disrupt sessions if you do drive. They are also free tutoring services for children during after school hours. Lionsgate studios is next door where shows like 50 cents Raising Kanan were produced"

"Our family has been visiting this library regularly for several years, and I can honestly say it is one of the best community resources we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The entire staff is welcoming, helpful, and genuinely invested in creating a positive experience for visitors of all ages. The variety of programs offered is truly outstanding. There always seems to be something exciting happening, from crafting classes and indoor recess activities to video games and special performances. My children especially love when the music performer visits and gets everyone singing and engaged. The events seem endless, and there is always something new to look forward to. While every staff member deserves recognition, I would like to give a special shout-out to Ms. Amanda. She is absolutely phenomenal. She consistently goes above and beyond to help families and is always a pleasure to see. Whether we’re searching for the perfect books, trying to figure out a computer game, or looking for recommendations on a new topic, she is incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help. What makes Ms. Amanda truly special is the personal connection she builds with the children who visit the library. She takes time to thoroughly answer all of their questions. She greets my kids by name, remembers their interests, and even prints special coloring sheets tailored to what they enjoy. Those thoughtful gestures may seem small, but they make children feel seen, valued, and excited to return. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Amanda. She is a true gem, and this library is incredibly fortunate to have her. The staff, programs, and welcoming atmosphere make this library an exceptional place for families. We recommend it wholeheartedly and look forward to many more years of visits."

"Very cute library and friendly staff. They have a very nice 0-2 play area for babies. However when I went the age limit is not enforced. My baby was playing there with me and there were multiple times older kids would come in and make the area dangerous for him to play in. Finally I decided to leave and had a mom get offended I was removing my child for his safety and she start yelling at me and even threatened me when I sent to let staff know what was going on. Apparently this was the second time this mother behaved like this but they seem to have a 3 times and then your put policy. However I think when someone is threatening to assault others especially a mother with a baby who is literally still drinking breast milk they should not be allowed back into the library. There are no staff in that children’s area monitoring and no security guard present as well. It is a big space so there really should be a librarian or staff always present enforcing the rules and monitoring safety. My son is not exposed to yelling or disrespectful hostile behavior and it was very unfortunate that the first time he experienced this was at the library where we both should feel safe to be in. Hopefully after this incident they make changes to make the area safer and more monitored. No one who threatens to assault others should be allowed to return especially not someone who threatens to assault a mother and her baby."
